WTF? Mercedes actually made this. During their drunk phase, apparently.

I have no idea what I’m doing.

Was it around October? Must have been around October.

Apparently it was a research car built to study driver eye movements and develop new a-pillar concepts.

Finally get an internship with Mercedes and I end up working on some convertibubble bullshit. (I’m sure it sounds funnier in German.)

The dash has a pull out skillet so you can fry eggs while driving on a sunny day

Ah, interesting.

Or he could just break one on the bill of his cap.

Nothing sounds funnier in German.

Must be expensive to fix cracks in the windshield. “Oh a stone hit your windshield, looks like you have to replace the whole roof.”
![]() 04/17/2015 at 18:53 |

Yes, that does look stupid.

Well actually, there is one word that’s funny in German: Reinemachefrau.

Damn! I haven’t seen that movie in ages.
Might have to look that one up tonight.

Three test drivers were severely burned from intense solar radiation while testing this car. One was melted entirely. True story, I read it on the internet

That guy behind the wheel doesn’t feel comfortable as well so it seems. But it’s very cool when in dogfights as you can even tell if your enemy is above you. Only problem is finding that HUD.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 23:11 |

He does look really miffed. You could project the HUD onto his hat. Maybe we should think about a bubble roof for the Wankel-mobile.

Canopy herr Eisen, this is a freaking CANOPY! Adding that can also add another important feature to our Wankel mobile:

Of course. Brilliant.

No flames painted on the side, explosition in the cabin FTW!

That was exactly what I thought of!

From another commenter:
“Apparently it was a research car built to study driver eye movements and develop new a-pillar concepts.”
That dude sure seems pleased to be having his picture taken in it.
